This tour begins with a scenic two-hour drive to the renowned archaeological site of Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to El Castillo, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. A highlight of the visit is the Pyramid of Kukulkán, built with 365 steps to reflect the Mayan understanding of astronomy. The tour also includes a visit to the region’s natural cenotes, including the famous Cenote Ik Kil, where visitors can cool off with a refreshing swim. Backpacks, food and beverage (water only) are not allowed in the caves. This tour can only accommodate collapsible wheelchairs with advance notice. Children ages 4 and younger can attend the tour free of charge with advanced notice at the time of booking. All children must have their own seat, and infants under 1 year of age must be in a car seat. Car seats may be provided upon request, but are subject to availability.
